  1. Selections & Guides Hiding Control:

Guide tool help you to align and control different shapes, selection areas and slices within psd files and this guide tool will help designers to perfectly position images and photoshop elements that can sometimes get very messy during your task. You can easily toggle between to show or hide of all your guides and current active selections by pressing ctrl+H that permits the designer to check their design work positioning without any drag & drop of elements.

 

  1. Perform Undo Redo Actions:

Almost all photoshop designers must aware about this fact that pressing Ctrl+Z keys perform the undo action of last step but on the other hand pressing Ctrl+Alt+Z actually go beyond the last step of action performed, i.e you can do unlimited steps in redo action.

By hitting number keys from 0 to 9, changes the opacity of any layer and object in worksheet. For example, by pressing key 3 will apply 30% of opacity but if you press first 4 and then 5 will provide 45% of opacity.

Layers are very important part of photoshop because all design related work has done on these layers and you can create a new layer by hitting Ctrl+Shift+N and it will generate a new layer in layers panel window. If you want any layer to be set on top position of layers, then just press Ctrl+Shift+J and this will allow you to bring your preferred layer on the top. To set any layer at bottom position, then you will have to press Ctrl+Shift+[ and you can also move forward and backward layer by pressing Ctrl+] (for forward movement of layer) and Ctrl+[ (for backward movement of layer). For selection of all layers in layers window, press Ctrl+Alt+A.

For reselection of any object or element throughout any layer with marquee or quick selection tool, then just click Ctrl+Shift+D that will work quickly for quick selection. You can also undo or reverse your selection by pressing Ctrl+Shift+I.

To perform zoom in or zoom out functionality on any object of layer, then you will have to press Ctrl + (for zoom in) and Ctrl – (for zoom out).

If you want to look inside your history or previous work which you have been doing and get back to that moment of work, all you will have to do is to use Ctrl+Y key to go back to the history files.
